  • The quality is not good:

It doesn’t support subtitle for .AVI.

It can’t sort by video file name if there are more than 1 video.

The buttons on the remote is hard to press.

It doesn’t support Component Video Input or HDMI Connection.

It could freeze sometimes and you need to reboot the device.

  • Does the player play videos? Yes it does.

Does the player play HD (720p, 1080i) videos? NO it does NOT.

The manual is very clear about this: Player only supports 720×576 which is NOT the same thing as 720p HD.

Don’t buy this if you want to play HD videos.

    Once again, this

  • Show that has more than 10 in a series don’t necessarily sort in order. A fix has yet to be offered.

  • This device is worth buying if you have a lot of videos or music on your usb drive or external hard drive. I have been using it for more than a month, it has exceeded expectations in most cases.

PROS: Works with external hard drives, Flash Drives, Memory Cards, has a remote control, it allows continous playback from the last spot you stopped.

CONS: Remote buttons sometimes get stuck. You cannot read the complete file names, if they exceed more than 20 characters, you have to wait till a rollover text comes to display the whole file name. It makes it difficult when you have have 100s of files in your drive.
