Question by Nathan M: How do I use my plasma as my computer monitor?
I have a new HP laptop and a 5 year old HP desktop, I would like to be able to use my new Plasma which is a Panasonic, as my computer monitor for one of these computers(preferably the desktop), how and what would I need to do this? Thank you.

i think you can with some kind of VGA cable but im not 100% sure.

For example, on the BioLife Plasma Services website, it states that if you have acne or a mental disorder, you may not be eligible for donation. Is there something in your plasma that could pass these conditions onto someone else? If not, this seems to be a bit extreme and picky.

I don’t remember the temperature, but to form plasma you need an abnormally high temperature and a certain amount of pressure. appearantly, the pressure is also important.

My son smeared his gum all over the screen of our plasma tv. So far I’ve tried putting ice in a bag and applying it to the gum. I’m able to get off big pieces, but the rest just kinda smears into the screen. Any helpful ideas would be appreciated.

Use creamy peanut butter, That gets gum off.

I have met a few people (3) who have given plasma, only to find out that they have in subsequent years been diagnosed with a blood disorder. Is this an aberration or is this happening more and more?

Hi Mazza,

This is an individual observation. Currently there is no connection between plasma donation and chronic myeloid leukaemia or any other blood disease.

May I suggest that you go to the Red Cross’ web page and start communications with them. Who knows, you may end up discovering something new? Good luck.
