subwoofers?

yea so im just starting to get into subwoofers and audio sets for cars. and i would like to know your personal opinion on what i should go for with subs, and a amp. ive heard of diamond audio, and jl’s are pretty good, any good suggestions of what kind i should get or any other brand thad be great.

if you got the money something like kicker or rockford fosgate or alpine………if not probably pioneer or rockford stage 1 and alpine type e or s…….never heard of diamond audio soo i cant help you there…….amps kenwood are good as well as alpine but what ever you do dont get sony xplod..they are probably the worst brand name car audio equipment you can get……..try not to buy from best buy or circuit city because they over price everything…online is cheaper try hifisoundconnection.com or sonicelectronix.com….compare the prices from those sites to bestbuy or circuit city and youll see

Well most of the popular brands like sony, pioneer, kenwood, MTX, and others are pretty good(dont get some unkown brand sold at like wal-mart), if you wanna real good sound system get a good head unit, amp, box, wires, and connectors.Getting better mid ranges and tweaters really improve the sound. If you are not really good with hooking up wires, and you want the best sound I’d say go to a proffesional. They’ll hook you up.
P.S. Try getting the same brand headunit, amp and speakers. But mixing it up is fine.
