I have this nice sub bridged to a pioneer 760 watt amp at 380 rms in a .75 cubic foot sealed box. this sub is nice sounding and hits the lows very nicely…however u want to rattle your car apart this sub wont do that…but it will rattle it…alot. I really think this sub should be in a ported box about 1.75 cubic feet, im gonna try that next…i have a 2000 honda accord with this sub, 2 pioneer 6×9 speakers, and 2 pioneer 6 1/2 speakers…system sounds very nice, the sub is wonderful and is totally worth buying…it has very good design from the voice coil to the double stacked magnets, very durable and totally worth buying!

These subs can safely handle about 400watts RMS each, and I am running them at a mere 500watts total. They hit hard and sound great as long as you tune the amp correctly (STOP USING BASS BOOSTERS! IT KILLS SOUND QUALITY AND CREATES DISTORTION AT LOW VOLUME LEVELS!) Anyway, they add enough thump for the average person. You may want to find an amplifier with more power if you like it really loud or simply find some subs that can handle more power (in the 500-750watts rms range) and pair them with a more powerful amp as well.

I have two of these running on a Kicker ZX750.1 amp in a Atrend E12DSV enclosure and the sound quality is just amazing. They are capable of hitting some fairly low notes and they have really long excursion. You probably won’t be winning any competitions with these subs, but, as I said before the sound quality is where these things shine. Rap, Country, Metal, Rock and just about any other kind of music sound great with these. If you’re on a budget these are well worth your $$.

These subwoofers for the price you can’t complain. The sound quility impressed me, however they don’t move as much air as i thought they would. I have them in a 1.66 cu. in. ported box, which is some of the problem. I sealed the ports which helped. However didn’t move as much as i’m used to. Great buy if your on a budget.

This Kenwood subwoofer is really awesome. It performs great and has never given me any problems. The only thing i don’t like about this sub is the fact that it’s 4 ohm. That basically means you won’t get the true power out of the subwoofer. If you hook up 2 subs correctly, they can turn into 2 ohm, but you have to buy more than one sub. Eventually i’m upgrading to a dual voice coil subwoofer, which is 2 ohm and can take a bit more power. But overall, this subwoofer is a steal for what you pay for it.
