The Bose 321 system is extremely easy to set up and has outstanding sound quality for medium sized rooms. I not really sure why so many people are giving it low reviews… I’m sure it’s mostly operator error or they are upset with the price. It is a Bose after all, they aren’t known for being cheap.

Very easy to set up and operate. Not the best sound quality but adequate for a small room.

This Bose system is great. I can’t say enough about it. It really sounds like you have speakers all around you. The power that comes from those tiny speakers is phenominal. Great quality and ease of use. It was very easy to set up and very easy to program and utilize remote for all equiptment. I wish we would have gotten the one that you can hook up an ipod to but for such a great system for under a grand, I think its well worth the money. I have been very impressed with great sound without big bulky speakers everywhere.

Easy to set up (over two days). Very satisfied with result. Works well with my Logitech One univeral remote.
I found the set up slightly confusing but I eventually got it.
Performance met my expectations for a Bose product. They just beat the pants off any competition. I sucked out some of the bass and slightly boosted the high end. The result is very competent, satisfying sound in a family room.
Bought on Amazon for $729. in Dec 09 from ShipItNowStores. Shipping was quick. A very good value proposition and we really like the set up. I got the speaker stands, at $52., a great price. This is my second pair. I highly recommend them.
I don’t understand the negative reviews. Are you talking about the same product?
I would endorse this product to anyone who seeks a superior TV sound solution without a lot of hassle.

I bought this unit because I didn’t want or have room for the rear speakers and because of the Bose reputation. Well, now that I have it, it sounds OK but I barely even get the effect of rear speakers. I also have to turn it up to 50 (half) to even hear it. Then the volume on the DVD’s has to be much higher than on the cable box. What a pain going back to the cable box. When their adds say it sounds so much better than the TV, they are right but not much better. I would find something else with wireless speakers in the rear. I have an Onkyo downstairs (5.1) and it rocks. Also the DVD’s get stuck in there and you have to power the unit off to get them out. I do like the remote.
