I bought this TV last Christmas season and paid $649…and at the time I was thrilled, compared this to many many other brands, some cheaper, some more expensive. This had by far the best picture of all. Some complain about sound quality but for a TV with small 10w speakers the sound is fine, face it, you can’ get theatre quality sound from a TV, if you want that spend the money on a home theatre system. I really have no complaints about the TV, the picture is great from Dish Network, over the air, and an upconverting DVD player. I would highly reccoment this TV.

Got this set for $479, good price for a good set I think. No installation issues, came right up and works just fine. I’m waiting for the burn in period before I correct the colors – they seem a bit “loud” out of the box. Watching football on it as I type – not a problem with lots of movement. Looks great, good sound. Makes a nice set for the bedroom.

This unit is adequate as a second TV (in the bedroom) but it just can’t compare to my plasma unit in the den. Picture quality and sound are just fair.
