Best value HDMI receiver
This receiver is a good reliable HDMI receiver at a good price. It decodes most formats, and has HDMI pass-thru.

Great for first timer’s
This was my first surround reciever. After more than a year in use I have grown to appreciate it for what it was. This is an ideal 1st foray into surround sound.

A receiver should be about the audio
The review by “cydewaze” is right on. I can’t believe I got suckered by Sony again. Yes, it’s relatively cheap now, but I believe it was around $200 when I purchased it.

No HDMI audio Only 1 optical input for HDMI Not addressed in manual
This reciever is nothing but a headache. If you only have one HDMI input great get it. If not throw this out the window and move on.

Can’t beat it for the price.
If you already have a grasp on home audio and are looking for something basic to push your surround sound system this is a great bargain.
