Bought these speaker stands after reading some reviews on Amazon. I thought, ‘what the heck, if they stink, I’ll only have spend $35′.

Mostly good
1. Even though it says ‘stand’ in the product description, it is 2 stands in the box.
2. The compression nut that screws down to immobilize the top half is plastic.

Don’t waste your money on this speaker stand!
I bought these speaker stands to mount some smaller (3 lb.) rear surround speakers. Although they look good out of the box, looks can be deceiving.
