This receiver is a great entry level receiver. I am still looking to acquire my speakers. More than likely I will go with a set of Bose. But, for right now I have a set of Phillips speakers from an older system. They work but I don’t have a powered subwoofer yet so, I am not reaping the benefits of the sound. But, I still believe it is a good buy.

Sherwood receiver I purchased in 1970. Somewhat complicated getting all the speakers to work properly.

I am having problems with achieving a full seround sound. I can’t get the center speaker to be a little louder, can’t get the rear speakers to register with the blue ray player. I am not that happy with this receiver. I had hope that the dhmi and the component could work to gather. I am using the component out to access my TV. the front access panel doesn’t work with the component out. so not wii.

not sure why it’s not working…hooked up brand new speakers yesterday and surround worked great…now the right banana clip for the floor speakers isn’t working…both speakers work in the left input but it seems the positive on the right side is already broken…total bs i just bought this turd and have only used it for like 2 1/2 hours

you can buy better one, i connected my play station ,hd cable tv, bluray ihave 300 hundred dollars creative speaker system so Iknow how to make connection between receiver and speakers its working but its only working I dont have cristal clear voice,

i had sony cheapest model it was better than this ……….
