  • This receiver keeps turning off when you raise the volume and has no bass. From now on out I’m sticking with Sony!

  • did everything I expected it to do, but the volume limiter is too low. Don’t like that the maximum is way to low.

  • The owner’s manual indicates that the wattage is actually 90 watts. To get the 120 watts, you need 6 ohm speakers. The manual is also the same for the VSX-1019AH-K.Pioneer VSX-1019AH-K 7-Channel A/V Receiver (Black)

    From the owners manual:

Continuous average power output of 90

watts* per channel, min., at 8 ohms, from

20 Hz to 20 000 Hz with no more than

    0.2 %** total harmonic distortion.

    Front (stereo) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .90 W + 90 W

    Power output (1 kHz, 6 , 0.05 %, 1 ch driven)

    . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 120 W per channel
